SecureIT and Europe4Startups a hit at ICT Spring 2011
This year’s ICT Spring, a major event that specifically caters to ICT stakeholders from around the world, has been highly successful for SecureIT, who was also a Diamond and Gold sponsor at the event.
The SecureIT information stand attracted many visitors who were interested to learn about the advantages of the outstanding colocation services offered by our company to renowned clients from all over the world.
SecureIT’s COO, Michael Maus, hosted a successful workshop during which he presented SecureIT’s Cloud solution platform. Furthermore, Gary Kneip, CEO and co-founder of SecureIT, one of the main speakers at ICT Spring, used the event as a platform to launch the Europe4Startups initiative. This flagship partnership between several established companies, aims to support start-ups wanting to expand their activities into Europe, by providing IT and related business services, initially all free of charge.
The initiative appealed to a large number of start-ups, mainly from the Russian Federation and the United States, several of which showed an interest in registering for the Europe4Startups initiative very soon.

SecureIT returns from successful promotion tour in the north-western US
SecureIT has been touring major American IT conventions in the last few months as part of a bold promotion campaign aimed at diversifying its international client base.
The most recent stop was in Washington State, home to over 2,500 IT businesses, both established and start-ups. Companies headquartered here include Real Network Inc., with an annual revenue of nearly US$ 1 billion, Amazon.com Inc., the world-famous electronic commerce company and of course Microsoft, the world’s leading software manufacturer. Microsoft, having recently purchased Skype, are now a de facto customer of SecureIT.
Talking to a party of some eighty business leaders at the DatacenterDynamics event in Seattle, on 17 May 2011, Gary Kneip, SecureIT’s co-founder and CEO, introduced them to the commercial and network infrastructure advantages enjoyed by eServices companies that choose to locate to Europe, and more precisely Luxembourg.
Mr Kneip also offered his audience a first glimpse of SecureIT’s new Europe4Startups initiative that will be launched at the next ICT Spring event, on 28 June 2011 in Luxembourg. The Europe4Startups initiative aims to support IT start-ups in their first year of existence and was received very positively in Seattle.

Following last year’s success, ICT Spring, one of Europe’s largest ICT events, is again taking place in Luxembourg from 28 to 29 June 2011. SecureIT is one of this year’s Diamond sponsors as well as the sponsor of the European ICT Awards Gold.

SecureIT goes to Germany: WorldHostingDays in Rust
From 22 to 25 March 2011, SecureIT took part in the WorldHostingDays at the Europa Park in Rust, Germany.
For the sixth year running, the world’s largest hosting event allowed industry players from three continents (Europe, North America and Asia) to meet and exchange ideas on the future development of their sector. This year’s edition attracted more than 100 participants and 3,500 visitors.
In just a few years, the WorldHostingDays have established themselves as the place to be for the hosting community. They provide an ideal venue to exchange experiences and network among equals. They also allow the players to gain some additional insight into certain aspects of the hosting business through dedicated events.
For the duration of the 4-day event SecureIT had its own information stand. The company was represented by its CEO and co-founder Gary Kneip and its COO Michael Maus.

SecureIT participates at DatacenterDynamics events in New York and Seattle
As part of a strategy to diversify its international client base, SecureIT has started to promote its services in the United States.
On 10 March 2011, Gary Kneip, SecureIT’s co-founder and CEO, joined his peers at the DatacenterDynamics event in New York.
